My wife and I just got married, and not long before that discovered we would be parents. I have insurance, but unfortunately she did not when I met her, so now she is pregnant and can not be covered by insurance as pregnacy is considered a prexisting condition. We also earn to much to get financial aide through medicade, but definitely don’t make enough to pay the soon to come exorbitant medical bills. Any suggestions?

I’m planning on getting health insurance for myself. Can you use your insurance card as soon you get it? I want to use it for a health check up, dental, etc…

I’m going to be getting my Drivers License for the first time in a week (I am 16), and I was wondering how soon after I get my license do I need to have auto insurance to drive legally? I’d like to be able to drive the day I get my license, but my parents don’t want to add me to their insurance plan beforehand with the possibility of me failing the exam. Is their any kind of grace period that allows me to drive the day I get my license so I can wait until after I complete the test to purchase insurance?
