I live in NY and my employer offers a FSA plan. They pay 100% of my coverage, but that doesn’t extend to my husband. Can I pay his health insurance from the money I allocate into my FSA?

I am still making finance pmts, but just came into a lump some of money. Would it be possible to offer the finance company a settlement since the load is basically unsecured? I owe 8k and would be willing to pay 4k. I would threaten to stop paying (I wouldn’t actually stop) since the debt is unsecured and they have nothing to repo. Any better ideas?

I currently have a car through my parents car insurance but I really want to branch out on my own and get my own insurance so I’ve been thinking about finally pursuing my dream of getting a motorcycle. They’re cheap, run well, and from what I gather insurance is very cheap. Could anyone tell me what kind of money I might save in Pennsylvania or New Jersey in comparison between a motorcycle and a regular car? Thanks.

Why do women get lower auto insurance rates I am a 23y/o male and pay the same rate as a 20 y/o female and I have a clean record. I found that it is roughly 15-20% for the opposite sex, and even women with violations can still manage to have a lower rate than men who have clean records. Is there any real reason behind this or just another way Auto insurance companies like to take our money.

Ok so here is the details. I was involved in a motorcycle accident where this women abruptly turned into my lane and hit me. I fell totaled my bike but was fine. They found it her fault. The problem is I didnt have insurance at the time. Her insurance is offering me 00 for my bike. They valued my bike at 00 which is about right but of the 00 in upgrades to my bike they want to only offer me 0 b/c I dont have reciepts. I do have receipts for a rear tire bought 2 days before the accident for 0 and body kit that was 5 months old for 0. If I take them to court will I get more money than this? Also can I get loss of wages paid to me b/c I had lots of road rash and a seperated shoulder? Thanks for all the help
Ok luckily the insurance settled on my motorcycle but now I am wondering about getting loss of wages. I live in california. What do I need to show. The hospital bill was 00 and it shows that i have a seperated shoulder. What do I need to do? Thank you

i recently had a motorcycle accident, and my insurance agent said that it would go comprehensive cause i laid it over. my question is. if i claim the bike that i have financed. and, since the bank has controlling interest in the bike. will they make me get it fixed or can i pocket the money?????

The accident was ruled the other driver’s fault. I had three pelvic fractures, dislocated tailbone, and fractured elbow. My health ins isn’t paying, but the med bills have been reduced to the negotiated rate that my ins would normally pay. So my TOTAL OWED is about 2/3’s of the initial total. Since pain & suffering is based on med bills times a multiplier, which amount will the ins co use? The larger total or the negotiated total? An attorney told me that this hospital is notorious for requesting the rest of the owed amount after the settlement has been reached, so obviously, I want the most money that I can get (and 13 weeks missed work!) Thanks
I’ve talked with an attorney, and he gets 1/3. The total coverage is only K. So right now I feel like I might come out better trying to negotiate on my own. Is there the possibility of getting more than his max bodily injury coverage using the lawyer? I’m confused.

I am 23, and using my moms health insurance for school. I have paid all of my own taxes federal and state, but I am not getting an economic stimulus check because I am considered dependent. I am also over 19 so my parents didnt receive the money either. Why doesnt myself or my parents get my money, and why did i have to file taxes on my own if i am still dependent. I am sorry if this is simple, but I am confused and broke, trying to pay for school…

A car owned by a woman driven by someone else and the car insurance paid for by someone else hit our car. I am suing in the small claims court trying to get some money for damages. An attorney with the insurance company told me I should not have sued the insurance company. Any ideas if this is right.
