I am college student who is going to school in Boston where public transportation is readily available. I wanted to get on my parents’ car insurance plan, as I don’t currently own a vehicle, but most plans require you to pay monthly to have the car insured. Since I’d only need to use the car during three and a half months of the year(summer) it seemed kind of wasteful money-wise to pay each month to drive an insured vehicle. Is there such a plan in existence? Just wondering.

I haven’t bought a car yet because a lot depends on how much insurance will be. I’m a 27 single female living in Boston, I’ve had a license since 18 but never drove so it expired and I recently renewed it. I don’t have anything on my record. I would be the only person on the insurance. I went online but they required the make and year of your car to calculate the rates.

I have a motorcycle that I have to register in Boston.. problem is that I need to get it insured first. I know that theres a fixed insurance rate in Massachusetts so many insurance companies don’t do business in the state… does anyone know a decent company around the area?
I also wanted to know how much I would end up paying for the minimal insurance package… a few people have mentioned it coming up to around 0 a year, does that sound about right?

I was involved in the car accident recently… I was driving in Boston the uninsured car with the New Hampshire registration. But in NH car insurance is not compulsory. The hearing will be held on my case, which is considered to be criminal. If somebody ever been in the similar situation ,plz, share your experience!

I am doing a project for school, creating a fake business plan for an online grocer that we are creating in Boston (again, fake grocer).
As part of the business plan, we must include miscelleneous costs, including Insurance.
Any idea? (180,000 sq ft facility)
