My employer is saying that if we do not complete an on-line health assessment we will no longer be eligible for health insurance benefits. The healthassessment is done through our health insurance providers website; BUT, the health insurance provider does NOT require the assessment for coverage. Is this legal?

When you first get your drivers permit do you have to have car insurance to drive with adults? Or are you automatically covered by theirs?

My husband’s company is changing their policy — they’ve provided him with a car for years, and now they’re changing to a car allowance.
We are responsible for buying the car, making all payments, insurance, repairs, maintenance, etc.
My husband’s company has just told us they will require an umbrella policy with themselves named. Not only will this require us to get a commercial policy instead of adding on to our existing personal auto policy, costing us more, but I am really concerned about our own liability.
Can they require this, and what keeps us from being responsible for paying damages in the event of an accident? The car and insurance policy will be in our names.

I’m 18, and plan on getting my license in about two months. But money is a little tight now at my house, and when my brother got his license on his sixteenth birthday (two years ago) the car insurance my parents pay for jumped an extra 1200 dollars a year.

We are looking to get a life insurance policy for my 25 year old husband. We have three young children so we’re trying to figure out what would best provide for the family if God forbid something were to happen to him.

OK, here is my dilemma. I have excellent credit but most banks seem to have a set interest rate for personal loans around 15%. If I finance the bike with a motorcycle loan my payments will be less but I have to have full coverage on the bike which is about 0 more per month. I’m only looking to spend around 6K. Give me some ideas.
